In WHERE DARE MEETS A DREAM, Samira talks about her experience in France and how her US journey, filled with twists and turns made her the person she is today. In her book, she tells her story asking: Is it worth giving up a life of comfort to follow the path of adventure on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean? She explores this question covering two topics relevant to many of us:
“Well, the first describes how my relationship to religion changed while living in France and how over the years, through a personal development, I realized that religion isn’t the only means to attain enlightenment… to talk to God… to the Universe… to the Superior Forces […] The second topic is a lesson of hope to all of us especially women. Turning your dreams to reality isn’t something that can only be achieved by the upper social class. Life is all about taking risks and taking risks, well it’s what makes you a winner no matter the outcome […] what is most important isn’t the end result but what you learn throughout the journey […] each and every experience put on my path made me understand something about life, and this is what I’m sharing in an additional “lesson learned” section at the end of each chapter. I truly hope it’ll speak to you and motivate you to carry on!”
In her story, Samira shows that when the unknown scares, the worst thing one could do is to run away, not go for it: “If it scares you, it’s most definitely because it’s something worth going for […] When we takes risks to explore the unknown, figuratively in terms of inner search, and literally in terms of moving places, we win no matter who we are and the Return on Emotional Investment is simply endless.”
“One of the things you’ll also enjoy reading is the lifestyle differences between American and French […] and you’ll learn in a fun way French words, especially those that write the same in French but have a total different English meaning and how sometimes not knowing this got me in trouble!”
WHERE DARE MEETS A DREAM will make you laugh and cry and laugh some more but mostly hope!
